The Department of Intellectual Affairs participates in the Cultural Festival of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her) at the University of Baghdad

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine participated in the ninth Cultural Festival of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) held at the University of Baghdad.

The festival is organized by the Department of Public Relations at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine in cooperation with the University of Baghdad, in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The director of the Center for Thought and Creativity in the Department of Intellectual Affairs; Sayed Mohammed al-A'raji, said that "the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine participated in a unified pavilion between the Department of Intellectual Affairs and the Knowledge Department, in which more than (270) publications were presented, distributed among encyclopedias, scientific journals and religious and ideological books, characterized by addressing university groups, whether students or teachers."

He added that " these exhibitions are intellectual forums and a fruitful opportunity to introduce the results of the departments, research centers and divisions of the holy shrine," noting that "the Department's Pavilion witnessed a wide attendance and great demand by teachers and students, who expressed their admiration for the intellectual and cultural products in the exhibition."

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs participates in many exhibitions and festivals inside and outside Iraq to spread the thought of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), contribute to spreading the culture of reading and introduce the activities of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its achievements and the extent of cultural and urban progress in it, according to al-A'raji.
