The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine opens the cemetery of the Al-Kafeel Paradise kindergarten for the victims of Baathism and extremism in Najaf

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has opened the Al-Kafeel Paradise kindergarten cemetery for victims of Baathism and extremism, in the province of Najaf Al-Ashraf.

This came during the holding of the annual memorial ceremony at the Najaf Al-Ashraf of the modern model cemetery, for the victims of the Badush prison massacre.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Laith al-Mousawi and Sayed Jawad al-Hasnawi, a number of heads of its departments and officials, the representative of the prime minister, Mr. Zaydan Khalaf, the minister of Justice, Mr. Khaled Shawani, and the president of the Martyrs Foundation, Mr. Abdul Ilah al-Na'eli.

The director of the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, Dr. Abbas al-Quraishi, said that "the Holy Shrine opened today the cemetery (Al-Kafeel Paradise kindergarten) dedicated to the victims of Baathism, extremism and crimes of terrorist gangs, to be a documentary and historical witness to the crimes of ISIS and the sacrifices of the Sons of Iraq."

"The cemetery included the first group of victims of the Badoush Prison massacre committed by ISIS terrorist gangs in 2014 against prison inmates, killing them on sectarian grounds,"he added.

"The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has adopted the funeral of the bodies of the victims and the donation of coffins, and then the holding of burial ceremonies and their deaths at their last resting place,"he added.

"Today we recall what the inmates of Badoush Prison went through from the crimes of terrorists, and we send a message to the international community about this heinous crime," al-Qurayshi continued.
