The department between the two shrines is conducting a sustainability campaign for the palm trees

The department between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine conducted a campaign to perpetuate and clean the palm trees.

The official of the afforestation and decoration unit of the Department, Mr. Hatem Abdel Karim, said that "the Department's staff, as part of its program prepared for the winter, conducted a wide campaign to sustain and clean the palm trees located in the area between the Two Holy Shrines".

He added that"the campaign includes the removal of excess and dry palm fronds and cleaning the tree trunk from the remnants of last season, to appear commensurate with the aesthetics of the holy area, as well as preparing it for the upcoming date-bearing season".

The staff of the department between the Two Holy Shrines continues to implement the plans of its winter program, most notably the arrangement of gardens and trees of all kinds, which increases the splendor of the place to serve visitors to the two holy shrines.
