The basement of Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him) embraces the visitors of the Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) by installing an adjacent grid to the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (Peace be upon him)..

After the completion of the roofing of the basement of Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him), which is located under the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) from the northern side between the gate of Imam Musa Al-Kadhem and the one of Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon them), within the agreed time period, by the completion of the construction of its concrete structure within the engineering and technical specifications under the direct supervision of the Department of Engineering Projects at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in order to invest temporary this space of 1000 m2 by harnessing it for the visitors until the end of the Zyarat.

The floors were covered by carpets and the walls by a cloth, and the basement was provided by all the amenities that allow the visitor to perform all the religious rituals with ease, noting that it has been allocated only for women to contribute to reducing the crowding in the holy shrine.

It was also provided by a grid adjacent to the wall of the holy sanctuary to give it the spiritual nature. This grid is the old grid of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) that was erected at the shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn's ambassador, Muslim Ibnu 'Aqeel (peace be upon both of them), and after that it was replaced by a new grid, it was given back to install it in this basement.

It is noteworthy that the basement of Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him) is one of the projects implemented for the first time if the holy shrines in Iraq, with an area of 1000 m2, supplied with all amenities like for the rest of the basements of the holy shrine's expansion, and it is the first step in other projects of creating additional basements to invest the whole area of the holy shrine.
