The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a joyful ceremony on the birth anniversaries of the Mohammadian moons in the southern green belt.

The head of the southern green belt department of the holy shrine; Mr. Nasser Hussein Mat'eb, said that "the holy shrine continues to organize its celebrations in various places to commemorate the birth anniversaries of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), including the green belt, as a central ceremony is being held for the second day on this occasion and in the presence of a large gathering of Iraqi families".

He added that"the aim of organizing such celebrations, which are held under the guidance of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, is to spread the culture of civilized celebrations that refresh the souls and bring joy to the hearts of those present, in addition to promoting the dissemination of religious awareness and guidance".

For his part, the commissioner general of the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department, Mr. Ali Hussein, said that "the association continues its participation in the celebrations organized by the holy shrine through various events, including the staging of plays, songs and Quranic stations, in addition to guidance stations and other events aimed at enhancing the culture of the community by following the example of the Ahl al-Bayt (may Allah's prayers be upon them all)".
