The completion of the manufacturing of the triangles' crowns of the new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

Within the manufacturing works of the parts of the new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) , the artisans and technicians at the factory of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of holy shrines and sanctuaries' grids, have finished the manufacturing works of the triangles' crowns of the grid, which are located at the central piece of the knot-works and the upper convergence point of the golden grid's triangles (the left and right ones).

The triangles' crown is one of the arts installed on the grid's triangles and is a connection's loop between its right and left sides. They are 14 crowns that are manufactured in a nice professional and artistic way, to complete the beauty of the new grid, as the old grid was made of gold- plated silver and the current one is made of 22 carat pure gold and a twice times thicker of the old one with 1,25mm.

These crowns have passed through several manufacturing works, and because it is made of gold, it needs an accurate precision and a longer time in its smithing, but it was not an obstacle that could delay the works or discourage the workers, as the manufacturing stage included a range of works starting from the manual hammering on the asphalt material, then taking it off the asphalt, after the completion of the engravings that are floral carvings similar to what exists on the current grid, as well as the whitening, polishing and colouring works to reach the final colour, to be concluded by the works of artistic carvings to embellish the crown's base.

These pieces have become then ready for installation, which will begin immediately upon completion of the installation of the golden triangles on the knot-works pieces of the new grid, and all these works take place smoothly and in high coordination with the time plan that has been developed for this purpose.

It is to mention that we kept for the new grid the same overall structure and engravings of the current one, with few additions, upgrades and modifications, because of its uniqueness design comparing to the grids of the whole world's holy shrines. Noting that the current grid was made in 1964 with funding from the supreme religious authority - at the time - The grand Ayatollah Sayed Mohsen Al-Hakeem. And, that the new grid of the shrine of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was manufactured in the workshops of the crafts' factory belonging to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine with high quality, durability and accuracy. In fact it is the first grid which is entirely manufactured in Iraq with Iraqi handicrafts-men. It is also characterized by the originality of its engravings and decorations in addition to the fact that it keeps the same overall structure and engravings of the old one, with few additions, upgrades and modifications, because of its uniqueness design comparing to the grids of the holy shrines in Iraq and in the Islamic world.
