Karbala university students visit the laboratories of Al-Kafeel Hospital

A delegation of students from the Department of Applied Medical Sciences at Karbala University visited the laboratories of Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital to get acquainted with its modern technologies.

The technical supervisor at the hospital laboratories, Mr. Abbas Fadel, said that"a student delegation, including students of the Department of Applied Medical Sciences at Karbala University, visited our laboratories in order to get acquainted with their technologies, working mechanisms and quality standards."

"We provided the delegation with a detailed explanation of the stages of completing the laboratory analysis, from the beginning of receiving patients and recording their information to handing over the results, as well as clarifying the ELISA technique for analyzing immunity and hormones, and indicating the method and stages of its work and how to save and prepare its materials and extract the results,"he added.

Fadel stressed the importance of these field visits for students, as they bring them closer to the work sites and introduce them to modern technologies and the skills that should be possessed by those who work in this specialty.
