In the presence of Secretary-General, the staff of the factory of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of holy shrines and sanctuaries' grids, proceed to install the traceries on the wooden structure of the grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched giant projects and harnessed all its potential to establish them. Among them the new project that is implemented for the first time in Iraq; manufacturing the grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with dedication and sincerity that are derived from the owner of the holy shrine, continuing tirelessly the works to achieve its accomplishment.

The Iraqi artisans accomplished each part one after the other then they install them on the wooden structure of the grid. And, today, it was the turn to install the tracery (knotwork), which is a set of manufacturing and synthetic works reunited in 14 "Duhna" to surround the holy grid from all its sides.

The works of the installation were launched in the presence of the Secretary General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Sayed. Ahmed Al-Safi who is constantly following up the ongoing projects of the holy shrine, among which the project of manufacturing the holy grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

It is to mention that each knot-work (Duhan) consists of 238 silver ball and 36 hemispheres that are joined with each other by 501 handles, called "Zabanah," its height is of 23 lines and 12 lines of balls for its width. The thickness of each ball is of 3 mm, while the 6500 handles are of 6mm each, all of which are manufactured of pure silver of 999 carat blended by 2% with pure gold, embraced by a wooden frames coated with silver frame of (1,5mm) and lined with stainless steal frames, all of which joined at a point called the crown of triangle (14 triangle's crowns), also made of pure 22 carat gold with a thickness of (1,25mm) and a compilation of the golden triangles (right and left) made of pure 22 carat Gold, with a thickness of 1mm with a measurement of (77 cm x 52 cm) for each triangle.

It is also worth noting that the General Secretary of Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi has said earlier : "After that we were honoured to serve the holy shrines, we found that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine's grid had more than forty years, which damaged some of its parts, and maybe a partial maintenance wouldn't last long, this why we decided of renewing it, respecting the same accurate art specifications of the old grid.
The funding of this project was made with the participation of the holy shrine's visitors, that are coming from different countries such as Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, India, Golf countries and all different nationalities' lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt (Peace be upon them), and we deny all rumours claiming that the new Holy shrine's grid is made outside of Iraq, as we are proud that only Iraqi hands are working on it, thanks to their sufficient experience and brilliant professionalism."
