The Department of Religious Affairs commemorates the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them)

The Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine commemorated the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them) by establishing a condolence Council.

The council, which lasts for three days in the Courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), is attended by the head of the Department, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, to address in his lectures the topic of the demolition of the graves of the imams of Baqi (peace be upon them) with evidence and proofs from the Holy Quran and the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), in addition to the permissibility of the construction of Holy graves according to the narrations found in the books of Shiites, as well as in the books of other sects.

In these lectures, he discussed the need to build these shrines, because they are pure places that include the imams of guidance (peace be upon them), as well as the inviolability of encroaching on graves in Islam.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special condolence program to commemorate this painful occasion, which included many condolence and organizational activities to commemorate this anniversary.
