Continuous preparations for the establishment of the eleventh edition of the International cultural festival of the Martyrdom's Spring..

The member of the Preparatory Committee for the International Cultural Festival of Martyrdom Spring and the vice president of intellectual affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Sayed 'Aqeel Abd Al-Husayn Al-Yassiri has explained to Al-Kafeel Global Network: "Preparations of the eleventh edition of the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom spring, which is held annually under the auspices of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and the moons of the family of Muhammad (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household), are continuous in order to maintain its development and establishment in accordance with the greatness of the occasion and the status of the holy shrines."

Noting: "A number of meetings have been held about many matters, including determining the festival committees, which includes the Preparatory Committee, the technical substitutes committees from which are issued the Finance Committee, Media Committee, Service Committee, Relations Committee and the Committee of guests' reception, as well as preparing the coming of the Arab and foreign visitors and the distribution of tasks and duties to all the committees. Each committee has started the works entrusted to it, and has to submit a report on the progress of its activity to be discussed and deliberated during every meeting."

Mr. Al-Yasiri has added: "We have agreed on the festival logo: "Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him): A divine mercy and a humanity invitation," we have also agreed on the axis of the Research Conference and the conditions of participation in it, as well as the participation conditions of the Event of documentary film about Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). The technical Committees were instructed to create the location of the eleventh edition of the international book exhibition of Karbala which is one of the important events of this festival, it will be held in he shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) near the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, and to send participation invitations to the publishing houses as well as to important intellectual, cultural, Islamic, academic national and international figures and facilitate their entry procedures to Iraqi territory."

Mr. Al-Yasiri concluded saying: "We hope that this edition of the festival to be distinct in all aspects, in terms of events and activities that will be held and also considering the attendance and the wide interaction of the participants, guests or attendees, and we will harness all the possibilities and efforts for this purpose."

It is worth mentioning that the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring is organized by the General Secretaries of the Holy Shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) annually to celebrate the birth anniversaries of lights of the Saint Prophet's Household (Peace be upon them),the grandson of our saint Prophet (Prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) Imam Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn, his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas and Imam Ali As-Sajjad (peace be upon them). This festival is one of the religious and cultural events held by the holy shrines in order to educate the community and to increase its intellectual and religious consciousness, to demonstrate the effects and results of the great righteous revolution of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) after 14 centuries giving the humanity the freedom of thought facing the injustice, defeating the falsehood no matter its origins and establishing the truth.
