Projects Department: the building of the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts is witnessing an increase in the pace of work

The Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine confirmed that the building of the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts is witnessing an increase in the pace of work, and the completion rate has reached more than 40%.

Engineer Hussein Mohammed Baqer said that"the project of the building of the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is witnessing an escalation in the pace of work as planned and under the supervision of the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine".

He added that"the building is being built on an area of 4000 m2, and was designed according to the latest designs that harmonize modern Islamic architecture, and the completion rates reached more than 40%, after completing the reinforcement works and pouring the foundations of the building according to technical requirements".

The project of the museum building of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is one of the projects of the development and expansion of the Old City, located at the entrance to the Qibla street leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) on the southern side of the holy shrine.
