The launch of the activities of the seventh Al-Ameed international scientific conference

The activities of the first day of the seventh Al-Ameed international scientific conference kicked off today, Friday, at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The conference is held under the auspices of the holy shrine and in cooperation between the scientific and intellectual Al-Ameed Association and the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed Universities, under the title (family and Community Security: Identity and technical challenges), and lasts for two days.

The events were attended by a number of members of the board of Directors of the holy shrine and its officials, as well as a group of local and international researchers.

The opening ceremony of the conference included the reading of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Laith al-Obeidi, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory for the souls of martyrs and scholars, the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the Pride's Melody, followed by the speech of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the speech of the preparatory committee in Arabic and English, the speech of the delegations participating in the conference, as well as the presentation of a documentary film.

Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Deda, member of the board of Directors of the holy shrine, said in his speech during the conference, "in order to implement the vision of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine in preserving the community structure, maintaining its security and stability, adhering to its identity and reviving everything that would consolidate the principles of our true religion and resurrect them in the souls of community members, we are launching today under the auspices of the Al-Ameed conference, which deals with family and Community Security".

Through its research sessions, the conference witnessed the participation of a number of researches in both Arabic and English, dealing with various topics, including social and psychological readings, family and Community Security, religion and heritage, intellectual security, and others.
