The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine arrives in Pakistan to hold the Second Women Festival in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her)

The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine arrived in the state of Pakistan in preparation for holding the second edition of the Women Festival in conjunction with the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The festival is organized by the Institute of the heritage of the prophets for electronic Theological Studies/Urdu branch of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine, on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), in the city of Karachi in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, starting on Friday 6/ 12/ 2024 and for seven days.

The delegation was represented by the director of the Office of the Senior Official; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, the head of the Religious Affairs Department, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, the assistant to the head of the gifts and vows Department, Mr. Mohammed jaloukhan, and a number of the servants of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine.

The women festival will witness the holding of various events, discussing a number of researches on the biography and position of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), in addition to seminars and introductory tours to educational, religious and cultural institutions, and poetry evenings.

The festival aims to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Our Lady of the women of the worlds (peace be upon her) in Pakistan, highlight glimpses of her blessed life, and highlight the interest of the holy shrine in women.
