The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was briefed on the contents of the Jafar Al-Tayyar library and its cultural heritage in the Pakistani city of Karachi.
This visit comes on the sidelines of the activities of the Second Women Festival organized by the heritage of the prophets Institute for electronic Theological Studies/ Urdu branch, affiliated to the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
The representative of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine in Pakistan, Mr. Nasser Abbas Najafi, said: "the Jafar Al-Tayyar library is an important cultural center in the city of Karachi, and it includes many valuable sources that contribute to the dissemination of the sciences of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".
"The visit comes within the framework of the holy shrine's support for these efforts that serve the scientific and cultural community, with the aim of enhancing religious and cultural awareness,"he added.
"Such events contribute to the preservation of cultural and religious heritage and enhance the role of libraries and cultural centers in spreading authentic thought and lofty humanitarian principles,"Najafi stressed.
The Second Women Festival aims to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and highlight her positions and her blessed biography, as well as strengthen the link with the values of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their principles.
