The relations department presents an invitation to the Scout Council of Iraq to attend the closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association programs

The public relations department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has extended an invitation to the Iraqi Scout council at the Ministry of education to attend the closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association programs for the year 2024.

The ceremony starts on Friday (27/12/2024) and lasts for two days, and is organized by the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine.

One of the staff of the public relations department, Mr. Hussein Naim al-Kanani, said:"We have extended an invitation to the Council of Scouts of Iraq in the Scout Education Department of the Ministry of education to attend the closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association programs.

He added that"the Scout education department will, in turn, issue an invitation to scout associations affiliated with the general directorates of education in all Iraqi provinces".

For his part, the director of Scout education at the ministry, Mr. Abdul Karim Hanoun, stated that "this ceremony will contribute to strengthening the ties between the Ministry of education and the holy shrine, in addition to enhancing cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Al-Kafeel Scout Association, the Scout Council of Iraq and the leaders responsible for the Scout movement in Baghdad."

"The outputs that will result from this cooperation will contribute to the development of scouting work, whether in the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, the Council of Scouts of Iraq or the directorates of the Ministry of Education,"Hanoun stressed.

"We look forward to further cooperation in the future with the aim of developing the Scout movement and paying attention to the student segment, both male and female, whom we consider the backbone of the ministry."
