The sixth international scientific conference of Al-Kafeel University witnesses the opening session

The sixth international scientific conference of Al-Kafeel University witnessed the holding of its opening session in the presence of members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its officials, many official and academic figures, and researchers from inside and outside Iraq.

The opening session of the conference was chaired by the dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, and the director of bone marrow transplantation and cell therapy at the University of Alabama, Dr. Zaid Al-Kadhemi, and the course of Dr. Siddiq Ghani al-Muhanna.

The session dealt with a type of scientific research called (Translational research in medicine), basic science tools, how to understand the priorities of treatment, and knowledge of clinical problems and how to solve them by understanding those Sciences.

In a presentation during the session, Al-Kadhemi explained the stages of research development from basic research, the discovery of a certain part or type of body mechanics to taking it to the patient, the mechanisms of scientific discovery, studying the discovery in the laboratory and experimenting on animals to prove its effectiveness, and then switching to human experiments.

The lecturer reviewed how to find out the effectiveness of treatments on humans and the extent to which they perform the desired purpose, through comparative experiments.

The conference is held with the participation of the Universities of Toledo and Michigan from the United States, Al-Ameed University and Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital, with the aim of supporting the scientific and research movement and providing a stimulating environment for researchers.
