The procession of the people of Karbala commemorates the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) at his holy shrine

The procession of the people of Karbala commemorated the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) at his immaculate shrine in the province of Najaf Al-Ashraf.

One of the staff of the Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Organizations, Mr. Haider Ibrahim, said that "the people of Karbala commemorated the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on the 13th night of the month of Rajab at the Immaculate shrine, to renew the Covenant and loyalty to the Commander of Faithful (peace be upon him)".

He added that"the department was keen to provide what the procession needs to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), including buses for transporting visitors in addition to security approvals".

For his part, one of the participants in the procession, Mr. Khalid Ibrahim, said that the procession was keen to commemorate this great occasion of the nineteenth year in the courtyard of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him)," pointing out that "the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provided the necessary facilities for the procession, and provide the appropriate atmosphere for the participants in the Ziyarat."
