Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine launches the third campaign of the positive lifestyles program

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the third campaign of the "positive lifestyles" program for Al-Afaf shopping center employees and visitors.

The program is organized by the Department of medical affairs at the holy shrine in cooperation with Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital.

The assistant head of the Department, Mr. Raafat Abbas, said: "the holy shrine launched the third campaign of the (positive lifestyles) program for its members, at Al-Afaf shopping center, which includes conducting medical examinations in order to identify chronic diseases and provide the necessary health advice to them.

He added that"this campaign is characterized by providing medical examinations and health advice not only to the members of the holy shrine present at the center, but also to its citizens, with the aim of early detection of chronic diseases, such as diabetes and high blood pressure".

For his part, the director of the al-Afaf center, Mr. Mohammed said, stressed the importance of this campaign in providing an opportunity for members of the holy shrine and pioneers of the center to conduct medical examinations for early detection of chronic diseases, in addition to providing an awareness lecture on diabetes and hypertension."

"This campaign allows participants to see the results of their tests and find out if they are normal or need medical follow-up,"he added.

This initiative is part of a series of campaigns organized by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to promote health awareness and improve lifestyles for its members and the general public.
