The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine receives Quranic delegation from Afghanistan..

Within the program of groups' reception, which is supervised by the Public Relations Department in the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, a Quranic delegation representing the Quranic institution of the University of the Holy Quran and the sciences of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Afghanistan, including a number of readers, memorizers and specialist researchers of the Holy Quran had the honour of visiting the Holy Shrine in response to an invitation addressed to them, and the Division of University relations of the mentioned department has prepared for them a special program of visit.
The holy shrines are the focus of attention and a safe haven for whoever want to enjoy serenity and seek spirituality, therefore the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine receives throughout the year the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from different countries and various nationalities, who are seeking the blessings of this sacred spot which is the haven for the seekers of peace and closeness to the Almighty God and a door for those asking for the fulfilment of their needs.
Mohammed Jawad Ahmadian the head of the Quranic Institution in the University of the Holy Quran and the Sciences of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Afghanistan stated the following: "It is a great honour to gain the visit of the shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and we had the special feeling once we put put our feet in this sacred place. The aim of this visit is firstly to perform the rituals of the Zyarat and to have the honour of being inside the holy shrines of our Imams (peace be upon them) who were buried in the sacred land of Iraq, and to encourage our Quran readers and memorizers as this Zyarat gives them a spiritual factor to continue their Quranic march, and also to see the Quranic projects adopted by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to benefit from it in the future, in order to work on a joint Quranic protocol action, because the Iraqi people are generous, loves reading the Holy Quran and honours its readers and memorizers. In our turn, we thank the officials and thos in charge in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for their considerable efforts in inviting readers and memorizers from the disadvantaged countries, such as Afghanistan."
The Division of University Relations of the Department of relations at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has prepared an integrated program for this delegation that is composed of 12 members mostly visiting the holy shrines of Iraq for the first time. the program includes Quranic evenings, the Zyarat of the holy shrines of Imam Ali, Imam Al-Hussayn, Al-Abbas and Imams Al-Kadhem and Al-Jawad (peace be upon them all) and visits of its urban and cultural projects, including its Quranic institutions.
