The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine receives a number of dignitaries of Karbala invitations to attend the events of the third Imamate week

The general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has handed over a number of dignitaries of the city of Karbala invitations to attend the events of the third international Imamate week.

The week is held by the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine under the slogan (the prophecy and the Imamate are inseparable titles), and under the title (the commandments of the imams are guidance and piety), coinciding with the Eid Al-Ghadeer, and its activities will begin on 17th Dhu al-Hijjah 1446AH, corresponding to 14/06/2025, with the participation of countries: Iran, Egypt, Yemen, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Kenya, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Morocco, Syria, Norway and Kuwait.

The official of the internal relations unit of the public relations department at the holy shrine, Mr. Nafi Al-Mankoshi, said:"a delegation from the unit handed over a number of dignitaries of the holy city of Karbala invitations to attend the events of the international Imamate week in its third edition, within the framework of the holy shrine's keenness to involve the dignitaries of the city in its multiple activities.

For his part, Mr. Mounir Abdul Hussein al-ashigar said:"the week represents a scientific and intellectual radiation emanating from the holy city of Karbala to familiarize the whole world with the place of the imams of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and their awareness role in building the nation."

In the same context, Mr. Issa al-Hassani said:"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has made a kind gesture by handing invitations to attend the week's events to a number of prominent city intellectuals, academics and officials of civil society organizations.

The dignitaries of the city of Karbala extended their sincere thanks to the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for handing over the invitations to attend, and appreciating their effective contributions to preserving the heritage of the city of Master of martyrs (peace be upon him).
