The Supreme Religious Authority: Understanding the Population's demands equals the success on the reform's battle

The supreme religious authority called on the Iraqi people who is engaged in the reform battle along with its fateful battle against the terrorists, to be careful that the victory in this battle requires a correct application of its mechanisms in order to ensure achieving its desired goal. It has also expressed its concern about the phenomenon of the migration of large numbers of Iraqi youth to other countries, which threaten to empty the country of many of the young, intellectual and academic potential.
This came in the second sermon of the Friday prayer on the 12th Dhu Al-Qi'dah 1436 AH corresponding to the 28th August 2015, held in the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), lead by Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, who stated in the first part of this sermon 6 important points that are:
1- Among the success requirements in the reform battlefield, that the politicians who have the reigns of power in the country have to understand the eligibility of the people's demands to provide services, fight against corruption, realize the social justice.
2- Making the basic steps to install the trust and confidence among the citizens who react to these demands.
3- Believe and try hard to achieve them, as the citizen has heard earlier promises that weren't kept to solve the problems from which he has been suffering since long time, but he only found temporary solutions to calm down the emotions.
4-The officials then must work this time in a different way to gain the trust of the citizens showing them that they are serious about the reform and have sincere intentions towards the population. And the citizens have to engage in the reform battle along with its fateful battle against the terrorists, to be careful that the victory in this battle requires a correct application of its mechanisms in order to ensure achieving its desired goal.
5- The citizens calling for the reform have to better choose the titles of their demands in way that expresses the originality and righteousness of their demands, and not allowing these titles to give justification to those against this popular movement to attack it and to doubt about its patriotism or by giving the opportunity to others to exploit it in order to achieve their own goals.
6- The supreme religious authority confirmed previously that its approach is the statement of the general outlines of the reform process, and for the details of the necessary steps are in the custody of the conscious officials in the legislative, executive and juridical authorities, and it hopes that they will succeed in taking bold decisions that will be convincing to the Iraqi people, which is the cource of all authorities.
