The Office of the Senior Official for Women's Affairs inaugurates the basement of the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) courtyard to welcome the visitors of Arbaeen

The Office of the Senior Official for Women's Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine opened the basement of the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) courtyard to serve as a resting and service station for female visitors during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

The basement of the courtyard of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) is considered one of the main centers that receive female visitors. It has been equipped with public safety measures according to the approved standards, including emergency exits, ventilation systems, and firefighting equipment, to ensure the safety of the female visitors during their stay.

The basement includes religious, educational, and guidance stations supervised by specialized female staff from various departments of women's affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in addition to providing basic services and rest areas, in line with the scale of the Ziyarat and the increasing number of female visitors annually.

The opening of the basement comes as part of the preparations made by the holy shrine to ensure everything that contributes to the comfort of the female visitors and enhances the emotional impact of this blessed spiritual journey toward the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him).
