What is the reward given by the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and his holy Household) to the visitor of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)?!

It is narrated in the hadith that Abu Ja'far [Al-Baqer] (peace be upon him) said: "The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) has narrated: “We served the Prophet, who visited us, some of the milk, butter and dates that Ummu Ayman had given to us. After he had had some, he moved to a corner to offer a prayer. He wept a lot during the last prostration of that prayer. Due to great awe of him none of us could ask him.

Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) then approached him, sat on his lap and said: “Father, the greatest pleasure that we had ever felt was at these moments when you visit us. But we also felt great sorrow when we noticed you weeping. What for are you weeping?”

“Son,” answered the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and his holy Household), “The angel Gabriel has just come to me to foretell that you all will be killed in different areas of this earth.”

“Father,” asked Al-Hussayn, “What will be the reward of him who visits us in such different areas?”

The Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and his holy Household) answered: “There will be groups of my ummah visiting your tombs for seeking blessings. I engage myself with the pledge that I, on the Day of Resurrection, will come to save them from the horrors of the Hour..."


ورد في الحديث عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ(عليه السلام) أنّه قَالَ: قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ(عليه السلام):‏ زَارَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ(صلى الله عليه وآله) وَقَدْ أَهْدَتْ لَنَا أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ لَبَناً وَزُبْداً وَتَمْراً فَقَدَّمْنَا مِنْهُ فَأَكَلَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى زَاوِيَةِ الْبَيْتِ فَصَلَّى رَكَعَاتٍ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ سُجُودِهِ بَكَى بُكَاءً شَدِيداً فَلَمْ يَسْأَلْهُ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا إِجْلَالًا وَإِعْظَاماً لَهُ.
فَقَامَ الْحُسَيْنُ(عليه السلام) وَقَعَدَ فِي حَجْرِهِ فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَتِ لَقَدْ دَخَلْتَ بَيْتَنَا فَمَا سُرِرْنَا بِشَيْءٍ كَسُرُورِنَا بِدُخُولِكَ ثُمَّ بَكَيْتَ بُكَاءً غَمَّنَا فَمَا أَبْكَاكَ؟
فَقَالَ: يَا بُنَيَّ أَتَانِي جَبْرَئِيلُ(عليه السلام) آنِفاً فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّكُمْ قَتْلَى، وَأَنَّ مَصَارِعَكُمْ شَتَّى.
فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَتِ فَمَا لِمَنْ زَارَ قُبُورَنَا عَلَى تَشَتُّتِهَا؟
فَقَالَ(صلى الله عليه وآله): يَا بُنَيَّ، أُولَئِكَ طَوَائِفُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَزُورُونَكُمْ فَيَلْتَمِسُونَ بِذَلِكَ الْبَرَكَةَ، وَحَقِيقٌ عَلَيَّ أَنْ آتِيَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى أُخَلِّصَهُمْ مِنْ أَهْوَالِ السَّاعَةِ.. انتهى
