As part of its activities aiming to prepare a generation of conscious Muslims inspired by the authentic principles of the Islamic culture and the revolution of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), the Division of Childhood and youth held a condolences Majlis for the members of Alkafeel Scouts during the days of the sacred month of Muharram, speaking about the reformist revolution of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and focusing on the main objectives for which he was martyred.
The head of the Unit of activities and camps from the mentioned division; Mr. Ali Hussain Abd Zayd has stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "This Majlis lasted for three days and it was about the blessed Hussayni revolution, its objectives and how it became today a besacon for all the free in the world, in addition to dealing with the issue of the reformist goal of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and hoe to link it to the reform of the society, inspired from the letter of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to his brother Mohammad Ibn Al-Hanafiyah: ""And I am not taking up arms in order to make merry, or be ecstatic over what I possess. I am not making mischief, nor exercising oppression. But, I am ready to fight for the sole goal of seeking reform of the Ummah of my grandfather, the Prophet of Allah (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household)."
And adding: "The Majlis included also the presentation of a film about the sacrifice of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and how he watered the tree of religion with hiw own pure blood. At the end a lamentation Majlis was held with the participation of a group of Scouts Rawadeed, and the great interaction of the Scouts members, in addition to setting up a competition about Hussayni rituals in which all scouts members have participated to increase their religious culture. Also, we did not forget in this Majlis praying for the soldiers from the armed forces and the volunteers of the popular crowd, martyrs, wounded and those stationed in the battlefields. Asking the Almighty to give them victory over the criminal gangs and the forces of evil and darkness and to protect our beloved country and to hasten the reappearance of our master the Owner of the order and the time.
It is to mention that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine holds and sponsors many intellectual, cultural and awareness programs inside and outside the holy shrine, including programs involving students in order to contribute to consolidating and entrenching the principles and the teachings of the Islamic religion in accordance with the approach of the Prophet and his Household (Allah's prayers be upon them), entrenching patriotism and citizenship in their behaviours and lives.
