Al-Kafeel Hospital is a quantum leap for the development of the health services in the country and we will support it.. This what has stated the Iraqi Minister of Health Dr. 'Adeelah Hammoud after conducting a visit to the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, accompanied by a ministerial delegation and the director of the Karbala health department on Thursday the 29th of Muharram 1437 AH corresponding to the 12th November, 2015.
She added: "Our visit today to the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital came to see its outstanding services offered through bringing foreign medical teams to conduct various surgeries on a high level with the assistance of Iraqi medical staff. And we were pleased to see these operation rooms equipped with the latest devices from international origins, allowing very precise and important surgery operations to be carried out in the hospital."
And explained: "As a ministry, we are on a continuous communication and cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the administration of the hospital to secure all the needs from the supporting medical staff, and also by transferring the patients who need treatment outside Iraq to this hospital, as it is providing services that the ministry used to find it only in other countries, and we will be supporting this great medical institution by providing all it needs. And today, we are involved in a joint agreement between the ministry and the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to run this hospital within the law of popular clinics."
As for the Director of the Hospital; Dr. Haydar Al-Bahadli, who accompanied the delegation and briefed them on the varied facilities and treatment services, he stated: "This visit of Ms. Iraqi Minister of Health came within the series of the supporting visits to the hospital, which has become the hospital that offers the best services for the patients through its possession of the most advanced devices and by recruiting a medical staff, who have a very good experience in this field. Ms. Hamoud showed her admiration for the great services and the enormous potential of the hospital. Therefore, an agreement with the Ministry of Health has been signed to transfer the patients needing the treatment overseas to Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital. Then she has expressed being ready to fully support the hospital with everything it needs."
