The Religious Tourism Department launches the Al-Saqi campaign for performing Umrah rituals

The Religious Tourism Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the "Saqi to the Holy Lands" campaign to perform Umrah rituals.

The head of the external campaigns unit in the department, Mr. Abdullah Karim, said: "The department has launched the 'Saqi to the Sacred Lands' campaign for performing Umrah through Najaf Ashraf International Airport. It is characterised by providing hotels close to the Sacred House of God and comprehensive services that help overcome the obstacles that pilgrims may face."

He added that "the campaign is accompanied by an administrative staff from the department and a religious guide from the Religious Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, to provide religious guidance and direction, organise administrative aspects, and ensure the campaign's objectives are achieved according to the approved contexts."

Karim mentioned that "the department organised a series of guidance lectures covering the rituals of Umrah, including Tawaf and the intention, explaining the prohibitions of Ihram, Tawaf prayer, and other related rulings, along with administrative instructions, with the aim of preparing them to perform the rituals of Umrah."
