The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine: More than 22 million visitors took part in the commemoration of the Ziyarat Arba'een this year..

The Associate Deputy Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Mr. Ali Al-Saffar announced that the number of visitors who have participated in the rituals' commemoration of the Ziyarat Arba'een this year has reached more than 22 million visitors from inside and outside Iraq.
And added: "The Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) this year is marked by an increase in the number of visitors coming to the holy city of Karbala, whether from inside or outside Iraq, as the visitors by millions walked towards Karbala, hundreds of thousands rallied in the border crossing points and the airports witnessed an unprecedented movement and a large increase in the number of flights, during more than ten days."
It is worth mentioning that according the some sources, it has expected the visit of more than four million visitors from outside Iraq to attend the rituals of this Ziyarat.
While the Department of rituals and Hussayni processions in Iraq and the Islamic world at the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) has stated: "The number of the Hussayni processions participating in the rituals' commemoration of the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) reached more than 15000 processions including 73 Arab and Islamic processions, of which 7680 processiosn inside the administrative border of the province of Karbala, as well as thousands of processions that the department could not register, in addition to host houses, houses and Hussaynyat that have opened their doors along the roads leading to the holy city of Karbala.
And thanks to God and to the efforts of the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and all security forces, popular crowd, ministries, operating departments and the servants of the Hussayni processions, the Ziyarat was accomplished with great success without registering any case of security breaches.
