Giving water is considered by the visitors and processions one of the importance services during the Ziyarat Arba'een, and the demand for it is increasing especially in the hot days, and the watering division of the Department of service affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has set up a work plan during and after the Ziyarat days on several axes, providing daily more than 300.000 liters of warer for the processions, in more than 4 million goblets of single use.. According to the statment of Haj Ahmed Hannon the head of the mentioned division, who added: " The action plan of the watering division included many themes as following:
The first axis: Inside the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with an integrated water network for the purpose of supplying water in the sanctuary or in the internal and external basements.
The second axis: Outside the holy shrine in the area between the two holy shrines and in the nearby roads and streets, it was provided by water by means of special vehicles for this purpose.
The third axis: The conduct of special vehicles to provide the service procession with water for the duration of the Ziyarat, even in the peak days."
Noting: "The work of the Division members has continued in spite of the huge crowds in all the roads, but this did not stop this service around the clock and two times per day, one in the morning and the second in the evening."
