The crowds of visitors celebrated the eve of the 15th of the holy month of Sha'ban at the Maqam of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) in the holy city of Karbala.

The holy city of Karbala witnessed the influx of crowds of visitors from inside and outside Iraq to celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) in the 15th of the month of Sha'ban.

Visitors perform the rituals of Ziyarat and prayer in a spiritual atmosphere, amidst intensive service and security measures to facilitate the movement of visitors and ensure smooth entry and exit from the area surrounding the holy shrine.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine mobilized its efforts to provide various services to the visitors, including offering rest areas, providing meals, securing medical services, as well as organizing special religious events for this blessed occasion.
