Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) Brigade announces the participation of a thousand members in securing the pilgrims' caravans along the land route

The Abbas Brigade (peace be upon him) announced the completion of its security and logistical preparations to participate in securing the convoys of pilgrims to the Holy House of Allah via the land route.

The brigade stated that its participation involves reinforcing the Al-Nukhaib sector, west of the holy city of Karbala, with a force of approximately one thousand personnel to ensure the safety of the pilgrims in coordination with other security units.

It added that the deployment plan involves distributing regiments along the main axes from Al-Habariya to the Al-Nukhaib junction towards Ramadi and Al-Rutba, with the deployment of advanced detachments in the Anbar desert, supported by various vehicles at key checkpoints, and a ready reserve of commandos and special detachments to respond to any emergency.

The Abbas Brigade (peace be upon him) participates annually in implementing the plan to secure the land pilgrimage route, in coordination with the relevant security authorities, to ensure the smooth movement of pilgrim convoys and provide the highest levels of protection and care for the pilgrims during their journey to the Holy Land.
