The Preparatory Committee of the twelfth International Cultural Festival of Martyrdom Spring announced receiving the research participating in the Research Conference and the Research competition, which will be held by the two General Secretariats of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) from the 3rd to the 7th Sha'ban 1437 Ah under the slogan: "Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) the freedom's niche and the martyrdom beacon."
This competition aims to:
1- Clarify the profound implications of the Hussayni heritage and their impact on contemporary reality.
2- Root the Hussayni renaissance concepts in the mentality of the Muslim community.
3- Galvanize researchers and innovators to explore new dimensions in the scientific research about the Hussayni heritage.
4- Consolidate and strengthen the research and scientific communication between the scientific institutions and the holy shrines.
5- Provide a valuable and sober scientific product in a central issue of the nation's history to be accessible to researchers and students, and an important addition to the Islamic library.
The themes are:
1- The spiritual and psychological integration in the personality of Imam Al-Hussayn (Peace be upon him).
2- The methodology of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in the human education.
3- The wise leadership in the tragedy of At-Taf between the reason and emotion.
4- A comparative study: The Jihad attributes between the Mujahideen in the battle of Badr and Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
5- Zuhayr Ibn Al-Qayn, the faith revolutionist.
6- The roots of the takfiri thought in the tragedy of At-Taff -reasons and results-.
7- The motivations of Jihad in Islam, A comparative study between the tragedy of Ashura and the contemporary Takfiri movements.
8- The ethical implications in the Sahifa As-Sajjadiyah.
Terms of the competition:
1- The research should not be published previously by others.
2- The research should be written according to a sober scientific approach.
3- The number of pages should not be less than 30 pages, written with a font size 14 and simplified arabic and printed on A4 and put in a CD.
4- An abstract of not more than 300 words should be attached to the research.
5- The research with its files, CV and the mobile phone number should be sent to the email address of directly to the Department of Islamic affairs and human knowledge at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine before the 10th of Rajab 1437 AH.
The committee is not obliged to return the research that do not meet the conditions mentioned above. the research will be presented to a special committee to evaluate it according to the following:
1- The title matching the content of the research (10 points)
2- Taking into account the rules of the scientific research (10 points)
3- The clear scientific profile of the research (35 points)
4- The addition given by the research in this research (35 points)
5- The research sources (10 points)
There will be cash prizes for the first three winning research as follows:
- The first winner: One million and five hundred thousand Iraqi dinars.
- The second winner: One million Iraqi dinars.
- The third winner: Five hundred thousand Iraqi dinars.
