The office of His Eminence Sayed Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani in Najaf al-Ashraf has issued a special booklet on the timings of the lunar months and events for the year 1448 AH.

The calendar includes predictions for the position of the crescent moon at the beginning of lunar months, in addition to detailing the most important astronomical and historical events, the timings of lunar eclipses and solar eclipses, and the determination of the Qibla.
