The World Health Organization delegation visits the Sayed Jaafar Al-Hilli Center for Emergency Medical Services

The Sayed Jaafar Al-Hilli Emergency Medical Services Center, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, received a delegation from the World Health Organization to review the nature of the center's work and the medical services provided therein.

The head of the Medical Affairs Department at the Holy Shrine, Dr. Haifa Al-Tamimi, said that a delegation from the World Health Organization visited the Sayed Jaafar Al-Hilli Center for Emergency Medical Services, headed by the Director of the Regional Office of the organization, Dr. Jamila Al-Raee, accompanied by the Director of the Specialized Medical Operations Department at the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Dr. Fadel Akla.

She added that the visit was to review the medical and service capabilities provided by the center, and the mechanisms for delivering healthcare to visitors during the million-visitor events.

Al-Tamimi confirmed that the delegation expressed its readiness to cooperate in conducting future field tours during the million-visitor Ziyarats, in addition to discussing ways to collaborate in training the medical and health staff affiliated with the holy shrine.

At the end of the Ziyarat, the Al-Kafeel Center for Statistical Studies at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine presented a detailed report that included statistics on the million-visitor events and their requirements. It reviewed a comparison between the years 1446 AH and 1447 AH in terms of the number of visitors, the mechanisms for providing medical services, and the number of participating medical units.
