The Green Belt begins planting more than 1,500 seedlings of summer flowers

The Southern Green Belt Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has begun planting more than 1,500 seedlings of summer flowers in one of its oases.

The head of the Decoration and Afforestation Unit in the department, Mr. Maytham Adnan Abd, stated, "Our teams have started planting more than 1,500 seedlings of summer flowers of various types and colors."

He added that "the flowers were planted in the gardens of the Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Oasis, designated for youth, which spans 12 dunams and includes various facilities such as sports fields, gardens, and seating areas."

He explained that "the goal of planting these flowers is to provide a suitable and attractive environment for the visitors."
