The staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine removed the sand that was spread in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the doors leading to it, following the conclusion of the ceremonies commemorating the burial of the holy bodies, in preparation for re-laying the carpets and welcoming visitors.
Several departments under its supervision participated in the execution of the tasks, including the care of the holy courtyard, service affairs, and maintaining order, along with several related supporting departments, in a field coordination to prepare the service sites after the mourning ceremonies.
The work included removing the sand from inside the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the doors leading to it, the area of Bab al-Qibla, and several sites that were covered with sand during the days of mourning, in addition to cleaning and preparing those sites.
The staff of the Holy Courtyard Care Department also began laying the red carpet inside the holy courtyard after completing the sand removal work, ensuring the smooth movement of visitors and preparing the holy shrine to receive them in the best possible manner.
These works are part of the service plan implemented by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine after the completion of the million-visitor events, to maintain the readiness of the holy shrine and provide a suitable environment for the visitors.
