The creativity of the carpentry technicians in the decorative wooden works of the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

The wooden works inside the grid have been recently completed, and these new decorations and inscriptions are totally different from the wooden works on the old grid, and at the same time, they are a part of the beautiful Iraqi art.
It was taken into account in these pieces the same technique and art used in the visible pieces of the grid, as they were designed and executed with the same accuracy and skills in the workshops of the new factory.
The Iraqi technical staffs have showed their hidden skills in the manufacture and formation of these decorative and engraved parts without the use of no color or dye as it was relied only on the natural wood color, which was imported from world-class origins with high quality and characteristics, by 15 natural colors.
And with the graduated colors; white, yellow, green, black, purple, red and teak, in various types like the wood of teak, oak, beech, bitter orange, walnut... All these wood types were used according to the special proportions and measurements prepared in advance to accomplish this blessed work.
Among the decorative wooden parts inside the new grid:
1- The decorative wooden engravings, which are installed to cover the columns and golden crowns of the silver knotworks from inside. And every piece is centered by a wooden circle [Tura] with a diameter of 40 cm, on which was engraved: "Ya Qamar Bani Hashem", using Thuluth line by the calligrapher Ahmed Naji.
In addition to these decorative wooden engravings, there are patterns and lines surrounding the grid's door from inside, on top of which is inscribed the Hadith of Imam Ja'far As-Sadeq (peace be upon him): "Our uncle Al-Abbas had a penetrating insight and a firm faith, he fought along with my father Aba Abdillah [Imam Al-Hussayn] (peace be upon him) and he has done well and died as a martyr." written by the calligrapher Feras al-Baghdadi using the complex Thuluth line.
2- The inscription frieze [Quranic inscription]: inscribed by the Iraqi calligrapher Feras Al-Baghdadi, using Thuluth line. The chosen verses on it are from Chapter 24 [Noor] from the verse {God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His Light is like a niche wherein is a lamp; the lamp is in a crystal, and the crystal shining as if a pearl-like radiant star, lit from the oil of a blessed olive tree that is neither of the east nor of the west. The oil would almost give light of itself though no fire touches it: light upon light. God guides to His Light whom He wills. God strikes parables for people. God has full knowledge of all things..} (24:35) {اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ الْمِصْبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍ} to the verse 42: {To God belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and to God is the homecoming.} {وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ}, in a beautifully harmonic way by 18 m length and 42 cm width.

Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision
And from the Qibla side (the opposite side) the chosen verse is: {Gardens of perpetual residence, which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow. They will have therein whatever they wish. Thus does Allah reward the righteous جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاؤُونَ كَذَلِكَ يَجْزِي اللَّهُ الْمُتَّقِينَ} (16:31) surrounded by two circular "Turrar" on which was written the Basmalah {Bismi Allahi Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem} and the Tasdeeq {Sadaqa Allah Al-'Aliyyu Al-'Adheem}.
