The office of the Supreme Religious Authority has announced tomorrow Saturday the first day of the month Dhu Al-Hijjah, and so Eid Al-Adha will be on the 12th September, 2016.

The office of the Supreme Religious Authority; Sayed Ali Al-Hussayni Al-Sistani has announced tomorrow Saturday 3rd of September 2016 as the first day of the month Dhu Al-Hijjah 1437AH.

This statement was issued by Sayed Al-Sistani, and in which the office of His Eminence has stated that the crescent sighting of the month of Dhu Al-Hijjah 1437 AH has been proved.

Based on this statement, the first day of Eid Al-Adha will be on Monday 10th of Dhu Al-Hijjah 1437 AH corresponding to the 12th September, 2016.
