In pictures: The guests of the Martyrdom Spring Festival participate along with the servants of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in performing his Ziyarat rituals.

The third day of the thirteenth edition of the International Cultural Festival of Martyrdom Spring started with the performance of the Ziyarat rituals of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) by the servants of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine with the participation of many delegations present at the festival and a gathering of visitors, which coincided with the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Ali son of al-Hussayn (peace be upon both of them).

After that the servants of Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) along with the participating delegations were lined up, the rituals started by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and reading the Surat al-Fatihah, followed by a poem of the poet Mohamad al-Hirzi about the love of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the birth of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him), followed by the hymn "the call of faith". The participants then headed with their hearts and minds to the shrine of the Master of the Martyrs (peace be upon him) to perform the Ziyarat rituals of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), followed by religious stanzas.

This worship rite was admired and praised by the delegations that participated in it. Noting that it is held every day between the two working shifts of the staff, in order to renew the covenant and allegiance to Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), recalling the supreme goal of the greatest human who has sacrificed his blood and soul for the sake of Islam of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

And Mr. Issa al-Barzanji from Kurdistan Iraq has stated: "What can I say and I am in the holiest part of the earth - Karbala - and next to the Master of the youth of Paradise; Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). And the truth our feeling is indescribable while hearing he freshest words that show the loyalty t Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). And we also thank the Almighty God for blessing us by being present in this festival in its thirteenth edition, which is one of the most important activities of the holy city of Karbala, as it is in the best of places the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) at the best of times; his auspicious birth anniversary."
