The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by the al-'ameed international Center for research and studies in cooperation with Kirkuk University, has held a large research seminar on the sacred defense fatwa of Iraq and its sanctities and its role and impacts on the Iraqi society according to an in-depth research vision on Monday 11th Sha'ban 1438 AH corresponding to the 8th of May, 2017. The seminar held in the central hall of Kirkuk University under than slogan "The sacred defense and the peaceful coexistence", was attended by researchers from al-'ameed Center and Kirkuk University as well as large attendance from outside the University in addition to the professors and students of the University.
The seminar has begun with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and reading Surat al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs of Iraq after which the national anthem was played, followed by the word of the Imam Ali's (p) fighting squad delivered by Sayed Ali al-Shara' from the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), followed by the word of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi; the General Supervisor of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad. There was also the word of the Kirkuk University delivered by the University's President; Dr. Hasan Abbas Taqi.
Then, the research session was launched including five research as follows:
The first research of Dr. Sarhan Jafat entitled "The Community peace in Iraq", in which he explained the impacts left by ISIL when entered Iraq, and finding ways and mechanisms to achieve the Iraqi social peace based on the views and guidance of the supreme religious authority.
The second research of Dr. Adel Nadhir from the al-'ameed international Center entitled "A look at the commandments of Sayed al-Sistani to the fighters".
The third research of Mr. Haidar Ghazi al-Musawi was in English and was entitled "Friday prayer is a major or guiding obligation in the light of the truth or covenant theater", which was about the role of the religious authority in the establishment of peaceful coexistence in Iraq.
The fourth research of Dr. 'Amer 'Ashour from Kirkuk University entitled "The role of the media in the dissemination of the culture of peaceful coexistence and combating the ideas of Takfirism and terrorism" in which he highlighted a number of axes and problems experiences by the Iraqi society and the role of the media in spreading negative thoughts, including terrorism, and the position of the Iraqi law from this.
The fifth research of Dr. Omar Najm from Kirkuk University entitled "The peaceful coexistence and its role in family planning" in which he talked about the role of family reform in the reform of society, which in turn reforms the general reality and realizes the community peace.
The seminar was concluded by the University president, who in turn honored the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in addition to honoring the participating researchers.
