The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine inaugurates its Residential Compound of al-Abbas (peace be upon him) that was carried out with modern designs.

On Tuesday afternoon the 8th of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1438 AH corresponding to the 1st of August 2017, the inauguration ceremony of the residential compound of al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for housing the employees of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was held in Sheikh al-Kulayni service complex, amid a large presence of personalities and delegations and media coverage of written, audio and visual media in addition to large number of the beneficiaries of the residential compound units.

The inauguration ceremony started with the recitation of verses from the holy Quran followed by the national anthem and the anthem of the holy shrine and reading Surat al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq.

Followed by the word of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; his eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi who has stated: "The dear brothers who serve in the holy shrines, have chosen to serve in the math of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) and his brother the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and have chosen for themselves a worldly happiness when they provided this service in the holy shrine, especially the visitor. It was imperative then for the administration of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to seek serving them by establishing such project..." To read the whole speech, please click here.

This speech was followed by the word of the direct supervision body of the implementation of the project; the Department of Engineering Projects at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, delivered by the head of the Department; Engineer Dea' Majeed al-Sa'egh, in which he highlighted the most important stages and the technical and engineering specifications of the project of the residential compound of al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for housing the employees of the holy shrine.

Followed by the word of the project executing company; al-Sibtayn General Contracting Company, delivered by its authorized Director Mr. Maher Abd al-Amir, in which he stated: "This project will be one of the edifices of the province of Karbala, as it is the first residential project executed with these specifications and by Iraqis, starting from the idea and design to the implementation without the use of companies from outside the country..."

The ceremony also included a poem of the poet Sayed Adnan al-Mousawi; a member of the Board of Directors at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine about Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and his servants, in addition to some religious stanzas [Mouwashshahat] recited by Mohamad Tamimi.

After that, the attendees went to cut the inauguration ribbon of the residential compound of al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the first residential project to be carried out in the Karbala province with these specifications. This speeches were preceded by conducting the draw to distribute and deliver the housing units to the employees, in the midst of their joys and thanks to Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for this valuable gift, while pledging to remain loyal to him and to the service of his respected visitors.
