Important: The Supervisor of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad stated: Our forces associated with the popular mobilization and the Ministry of Defense and the reserve forces are the main forces that will represent our Squad in the battle to liberate Tal-A'far.

The Supervisor of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad; Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi has stated during a press conference held on Monday morning the 21st of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1438 AH corresponding to the August 14, 2017, that the forces that will represent the Fighting Squad of al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the expected liberation battle of Tal A'far are:

Its brigade associated with the popular mobilization: Brigade 26.

Its forces associated with the Iraqi Ministry of Defense.

And its reserve forces who were called through our representatives in the Iraqi provinces, and who have already been trained in various fighting arts.

And it is worth mentioning that the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad has conducted an expanded mobilization exercise with the use of live ammunition for some of its weapons and army equipment manufactured by the Engineers of the Squad, which have proved their success in the field of throwing and hitting targets, in addition to testing news types that used for the first time in accordance with the conditions of this battle, in which the Squad will participate on a wide level.
