After providing water to the convoys of pilgrims, the watering division started serving the visitors of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him).

After more than 12 days of providing water to the convoys of pilgrims heading to perform the Hajj, the staff of the watering division of the service affairs Department rushed to the service of the visitors of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him) on his martyrdom anniversary during these days. Noting that the cold water is one of the most important needs of the visitors during the Ziyarat because of the hot weather.

The head of the watering division; Haj Ahmad al-Hanoon was there and briefed us about the services provided by the division to the visitors, saying: "We have the honor to serve the visitors of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him) by contributing in providing them with water, which is the tradition of the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) either in this Ziyarat or in other Ziyarat. A plan has been set up under the supervision of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which has prepared all matters related to providing the visitors with RO water from the station of the holy shrine and ice cubes from its factory, in addition to single use water goblet provided by the Al-Kafeel Water Factory of the holy shrine."

And he added: "We have harnessed all our potential, staring from early morning hours until late at night and according to pre-defined axes that are witnessing large visitors' movement. The plan included the deployment of dozens of water reservoirs on the roads leading to the holy shrine, provided periodically with water and ice by special vehicles, in addition to setting up a large station to provide the visitors with single use cold water goblets."

Haj al-Hanoon has explained that the employees of the division were dispatched as follows:

1-A group responsible for the distribution of pure water using specialized vehicles to the processions' owners, and filling the water reservoirs scattered on the roads leading to the holy shrine.

2- A group responsible for feeding and sustaining the water stations for the visitors; which are stations that include many water reservoirs.

3- A group responsible for the distribution of ice either to the processions or to the mentioned stations or directly to the visitors.

4- A group responsible for the distribution of cold water goblets to the visitors through private stations."

The representative of the supreme religious authority in the holy city of Kadhemiyah; Sheikh Hussain Aal Yasin has praised the services and efforts provided by the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), after a visit he made to one of the distribution points.
