Al-Kafeel Center for Artistic Production and al-Joud Studio from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have participated in the eleventh edition of al-Ghadir International Media Festival, which is held in the province of Najaf under the auspices of al-Ghadir satellite channel under the slogan "The Media: A message of resistance and victory."
The participation is in the framework of the media endeavors of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the promotion of the works of all aspects either in the visual, audible and readable media. The participation included a presentation of models produced in the Center and the studio, which are managed by specialized technicians of the employees of the holy shrine, so their production is purely Iraqi.
Al-Joud Studio for animation has presented a series of its two and three-dimensional films such as "The Water Master [Sayed al-Ma']", which is about Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and his role in the immortal battle of at-Taf. Another educational series under the title "Harhoor al-Mushakis [Rowdy cat]" for Youth and young people was displayed.
As for the al-Kafeel Center of the artistic production, it participated by the presentation of samples of its produced artistic works such as the film "Kabir al-Sahabah [The Grand Companion]", a documentary film about Abu Taleb (peace be upon him), and the "Sayidat Quraysh [The Quraysh Lady]" a film about the important parts of the life of the mother of the Faithful Lady Khadija (peace be upon her).
The Director General of al-Ghadir Satellite Channel and the Secretary-General of al-Ghadir Festival in its eleventh edition; Mr. Mudhar al-Bakka', has welcomed this participation considering it a good opportunity to have the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in this festival, which is achieving a wide development in every session, and an increasing number of the participants which create a state of communication between them to learn from each other’s experiences.
He also stated: The festival has witnessed the participation of satellite channels, production companies, websites and local, Islamic and foreign new agencies from 20 countries. The festival's activities included seminars and competitions to compete for 26 prizes covering all media sections. And the seminars were about the media matters and its role in facing extremism, al-Quds in the media, Women and family in the media, the media and after the war, in addition to symposiums about various subjects."
