Iraqi Prime Minister: Services and projects of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine are a source of admiration and appreciation by the Iraqi government.

On Saturday 21st Safar 1439 AH, corresponding to the November 11, 2017, the Iraqi Prime Minister; Dr. Haidar al-'Abbadi was honored to visit the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). And after performing the rituals of the Ziyarat, he met with the Secretary-General of the holy shrine; Eng. Mohamad al-Ashigar and a number of its officials.

The Prime Minister, in a letter written in the protocol book, stated:

"We were honored to visit the shrine of al-Abbas son of Ali (peace be upon both of them) and the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the services that it provides to the visitors through the wide service and investment projects that are a source of our admiration as an Iraqi government as well as being admired by the visitors. May the Almighty God give them success to more good work and goodness.

And peace, Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you."

It is worth mentioning that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a large security service plan to accommodate the numbers of visitors coming to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), which reached about 14 million visitors.
