After its contribution to clean the center city of Karbala, the staff of the Department of Service Affairs launch a campaign to clean its outer roads.

After that the staff of the Department of Service Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy shrine have contributed in cleaning the center of the holy city of Karbala, which began immediately after the Ziyarat Arba'een. Their work now headed towards the outside of the city and the roads leading to it, which had a continuous movement of visitors during the Ziyarat as well as the service processions erected on it.

The division of Cleanliness of the Department of Service Affairs with the assistance of other divisions of the same department, mobilized all its human and material resources to participate in this campaign and which is the custom in every Ziyarat, especially the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The supervisor of the cleanliness department, Mr. Riad Khudair, told the al-Kafeel Network: "As soon as the Ziyarat Arba'een has been completed with success of both the security and the service sides, all praise to God. And in order to complete this plan and in accordance with the directions of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and head of the department, we headed to the main entrances of the holy city of Karbala, especially the roads that witnessed the density and congestion in the movement of visitors and processions and according to a plan that has been developed in advance, we began today cleaning one of the most important of these roads and we will continue this campaign until the completion of cleaning all roads, which is also witnessing the constant movement by the service departments in the holy province of Karbala ".

He added that "Dozens of employees of the Service Affairs Department have participated in this campaign, using a large number of specialized vehicles, such as load cars and waste compressing vehicles. And we have identified a place to bury these wastes and disposal."

It is worth mentioning that the service department has prepared a service plan during the Ziyarat Arba'een which included providing several services to contribute to alleviate the burden of the visitors and providing a suitable atmosphere.
