The Dutch Ambassador to Iraq has the honor to visit the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its museum.

The Dutch Ambassador to Iraq, Matthijs Wolters, expressed its great admiration for the AlKafeel museum of treasures and manuscripts, as it contains valuables and antiques of different periods of time documenting important historical events, in addition to his admiration for the displaying, organization method used in in the museum.

During this visit, the Dutch ambassador was as accompanied by the officials of the museum and listened to a detailed explanation, while he stood long in front of the side of the museum in which was displayed the damage of the holy dome of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) which was bombed during the Sha'ban uprising.

He also praised the efforts made by the officials in the museum's administration, making a great leap in the intellectual openness, and thanking the Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for giving importance to this field.

At the end of the visit, the ambassador praised the efforts made at the museum to make it at the level of the world museums.
