A Quranic Forum in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine at the end of the third day of the 14th World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring.

At the end of the program of the third day of events of the 14th World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring, a Quranic evening was held in the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) on Sunday evening the fifth of the great month of Sha'ban 1439 AH corresponding to (April 22, 2018) on the sidelines of the festival in the presence of Secretary General of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Eng Mohamad al-Ashigar and a number of officials of the shrine as well as a number of guests of the festival.

The Quranic evening started by the recitation of the talented young reader Ali Mohamad Najm from the Prince of Readers’ Project of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, followed by the reader Mohammad Ali Forooghi from Afghanistan, who beautifully recited verses from the Holy Quran, then the reader Ahmed Jamal of Iraq. And then the closing was by the reader Sayed. Mohammad Javad Hosseini from Iran.

During this evening, a speech was given by Mr. Abbas Salimi from Iraq, in which he expressed his thanks to the two holy shrines for their efforts in support of the Quranic projects, and their keenness to continue holding Quranic evening. The evening was concluded by honoring the participants.

It is to note that this evening is an extension of the distinguished Quranic evenings held annually in each edition of the Martyrdom's Spring Festival, and in which a number of international readers recite verses from the Holy Quran along with the Iraqi readers.
