Classical Vertical Poetry within the Activities of the Rabee Al-Shahada Festival VIII

Activities of the festival are in raw, as a poetic eve held Tuesday 5 Shaban 1433, Jun. 26, 2012 on the Seal of the Prophets Hall in imam Hussein Holy Shrine in the presence of many religiou, cultural, and academic figures with many professors of Arabic Classical Poetry.

Many poets: from Lebanon, Sheik Fadl Mukhadr, and Sheik Ahmed AL Amili, and from Saudi Arabia, Ameer AL Ali, and form Syria, Shadi Halaq, and from Bahrain Iman De'bil, and from Sudan, Mohammed Alnoor and from Mali Mohammed Jabani and from Iraq Mudar Al Alusi and Mohammed AL Baghdadi and Ali Kazim and Wathiq AL Jalabi.

For his part, the head of media department in AL Abbas Holy Shirne, Ali Alkhabaz, Ali Al Khabaz explained: the poetic eves where classical or popular are among the activities that go within the activities of the festival because poetry has the ability to affect the listener and to convoy the message. The great presence in the festival represents the success of the two holy shrines.

The participants says that the occasion is greater than what they can say in their poems, and they are doing nothing but their duty towards the message that imam Hussein sacrificed himself for.
