Completion of the maintenance of the central air conditioning system of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

With the increase in temperature and the increased need to cool all areas of the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and to avoid any defect or sudden failure that might happen because of these circumstances, the cooling division of the Department of engineering maintenance at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has initiated with diligent efforts to sustain all parts of the central air conditioning system of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the cooling of the Holy Shrine, the holy sanctuary, the expansion halls and the basements, with the development of an alternative plan in the event of any defect in this system.

According to the officials of this campaign, the maintenance of parts and sub-main and main pipelines of the system, as well as the electrical feeders of transformers and electric breakers and others, has been completed. In addition to the follow up of all joints and sections of the system to access the facilities of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and measurement of cooling loads to compare them with the produced cooling. The maintenance work also included the maintenance of the cooling motors of the host restaurant of Aba al-Fadl al Abbas (peace be upon him) as well as the maintenance of the coated material for the conveying pipes.

It is to mention that the Engineering Maintenance Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is one of the important and active departments that includes many workshops and has many technical and engineering cadres. Its work is ongoing around the clock and in all the holy shrine's facilities. In addition to the maintenance works, it has conducted many large and small projects.
