As part of its plans to raise the level of women's rhetoric and speech, and after it has been able to contribute to the development of the women capacities in religious speech, the Women's Speech Division at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, opened a specialized course in English that is the first of its kind in the field of women's speech training institutions, following a curricula that is prepared with accuracy under the supervision of a specialized committee in order to graduate women who have the ability to speak and communicate these concepts in English, since this art is no different from the rest of the arts and other cognitive sciences that use English as an additional mean of communication to Arabic, especially with the students from outside Iraq.
The course, as indicated by the Assistant Division of Women Speech: "The idea came after witnessing the increased number of non-Arab visitors coming to perform the Ziyarat of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and other holy shrines, who need he who communicate with them either in their language or in a language that they understand. Thus, by this course, we are trying to raise the cultural level of the women preachers by arming them with the language weapon, as English language is the most spoken language in the world. "
"We are a division of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that is always the forerunner of such initiatives. We tried to develop our work so it is not exclusive to men. We, as a women's speech division, raised the proposal to the officials of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine after the preparation of the plan and the full feasibility study, and they welcomed it ".
"A curriculum was prepared in cooperation with Sheikh Amir Al-Wali, a teacher at Al-Dhara School for Distinguished Students, who has a long history in teaching English as well as a professor of jurisprudence in Hawza. We coordinated with him and prepared the complete curriculum to be taught at this course that is "the program of worship", in addition to the book of "the killing of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)" of Sheikh Muqarram and the translation of Professor Hashim Qutb, the book of the doctrines of Imamiyah of Sheikh Mudhaffar and the "Treatise of rights" of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) in addition to chosen moral lessons.
